Summary

Scott Pilgrim's life is totally sweet。 He's 23 years old, he's in a rock band, he's 'between jobs', and he's dating a cute high school girl。 Nothing could possibly go wrong, unless a mind-blowing, fashionable, rollerblading delivery girl named Ramona Flowers starts cruising through his dreams and sailing by him at parties。

Con un estilo visual único, un argumento muy original y genial, y un montón de referencias al mundo de los videojuegos, Scott Pilgrim es una de las series de cómics mas divertidas de los últimos tiempos。

I loved Scott Pilgrim since I watched it for the first in theaters。 Not surprised I love the comic。 Both funny and quirky, with Scott being his adorable dumb self。

This is the graphic novel version of the first section of the story of Scott Pilgrim and his adventure in Toronto battling the x-lovers of Ramona Flowers。 I enjoyed this version as their were a few details that the movie lacked。

The art style of this novel is very good! The storytelling and pacing is amazing。 I’ve only watched the movie but now I had the chance to read this and I am loving this very much。

Honestly, you cannot go wrong with this series。 Beautiful and engaging art with wacky humor。 I enjoyed every moment in this book and it only gets better。 Bryan Lee O'Malley is one of those comic artist I really enjoy seeing how he pushes his limits with his work and boy does it show in this series!I always recommend giving this comic book a at least shot。 I feel like its such a classic with great characters that somehow makes me smile with how out of this world they are。 Honestly, you cannot go wrong with this series。 Beautiful and engaging art with wacky humor。 I enjoyed every moment in this book and it only gets better。 Bryan Lee O'Malley is one of those comic artist I really enjoy seeing how he pushes his limits with his work and boy does it show in this series!I always recommend giving this comic book a at least shot。 I feel like its such a classic with great characters that somehow makes me smile with how out of this world they are。 。。。more

Wow turns out this really is word for word frame for frame what the film isThere's no room for 'do u prefer the book or the film' discussion。 They're the same。Does this devalue the original book? i like the concept and the execution but i guess it gets overshadowed by the unlikeable characters, at least to me。 granted this might be The Point or whatever。

There’s a jokes that haven’t aged great, but otherwise a great start to a series。

First of all I just want to say that this was an amazing read。 I personally thought that it was a great book and that's saying a lot because I don't like to read。 This book is great for a quick read。 It's short and funny。 I really like the comic aspect of it, I think that this was a great choice rather than just plain words on a page。 but something that I didn't like is that it was kinda slow at the beginning its didn't really grab my attention until the second quarter of the book。 The book also First of all I just want to say that this was an amazing read。 I personally thought that it was a great book and that's saying a lot because I don't like to read。 This book is great for a quick read。 It's short and funny。 I really like the comic aspect of it, I think that this was a great choice rather than just plain words on a page。 but something that I didn't like is that it was kinda slow at the beginning its didn't really grab my attention until the second quarter of the book。 The book also had some funny jokes and was very comical。 So therefore overall a great read。 Literature helps in a way to let the reader and human brain breathe, it lets us take a break and sit back and just rest。 Literature helps us to figure out what we like and dislike。 And literature helps us to work and train our brains and minds and make them stronger。 I would recommend this book to the democratic of people that like comics and long good stories that go in-depth in all aspects of the book 。。。more

Always loved the movie and finally decided to read the books。 Loved the first one! Couldn’t put it down。

Enjoyed the movie。 This has a bit more back story and a lot more of the quirk。 Probably would be more into it if I hadn’t seen the movie as I can anticipate most of what’s happening but nonetheless, pretty entertaining。

Not really my thing。 Maybe because I'm not a huge fan of video games。 I remember seeing the movie back when it came out and not being a huge fan of it。 From what I can remember, the movie is very faithful to the source material。 There were a few occasions where I laughed out loud but overall, my favourite thing about this read was that it was short。 I wasn't a huge fan of the animation, Scott's relationship with a 17 year old, or the arc with the first evil ex-boyfriend。 I will continue reading Not really my thing。 Maybe because I'm not a huge fan of video games。 I remember seeing the movie back when it came out and not being a huge fan of it。 From what I can remember, the movie is very faithful to the source material。 There were a few occasions where I laughed out loud but overall, my favourite thing about this read was that it was short。 I wasn't a huge fan of the animation, Scott's relationship with a 17 year old, or the arc with the first evil ex-boyfriend。 I will continue reading because a friend lent me the series, they're quick and (as a huge bonus) they're Canadian, but overall Scott Pilgrim is not my cup of tea。 。。。more

This was funny。 I was scare because I really wanted to like Scott but the dating-a-minor thing is a huge red flag for me but I'm happy to know he is not such an idiot。。。 but still an idiot。 Btw I didn't understand the whole fight thing, it was weird。 This was funny。 I was scare because I really wanted to like Scott but the dating-a-minor thing is a huge red flag for me but I'm happy to know he is not such an idiot。。。 but still an idiot。 Btw I didn't understand the whole fight thing, it was weird。 。。。more

I went on a journey with this series, but by the end I really enjoyed it。 This first issue had lots of things to like (endearing art, immense nostalgia, etc。), but plenty of things that were not working at all。 I detail my journey with the series issue-by-issue in our episode on the comics for my podcast Ink to Film:Apple http://bit。ly/SPcomicsSpotify http://bit。ly/SPcomicsITFStitcher http://bit。ly/ScottPcomics I went on a journey with this series, but by the end I really enjoyed it。 This first issue had lots of things to like (endearing art, immense nostalgia, etc。), but plenty of things that were not working at all。 I detail my journey with the series issue-by-issue in our episode on the comics for my podcast Ink to Film:Apple http://bit。ly/SPcomicsSpotify http://bit。ly/SPcomicsITFStitcher http://bit。ly/ScottPcomics 。。。more

I saw the movie first and when I notice that it was based on the manga series I needed to read it so I did with the first one and the first book seems pretty similar to the movie which is great to know and of course it gives more information than the movie can't give out。 I saw the movie first and when I notice that it was based on the manga series I needed to read it so I did with the first one and the first book seems pretty similar to the movie which is great to know and of course it gives more information than the movie can't give out。 。。。more

After rewatching the film again, my interests in this wildly outrageous world of Scott Pilgrim grew。 It grew to the point that I decided I needed to purchase and own the complete Scott Pilgrim Comic Book collection。 And I do not regret that decision even a little bit。 The first installment was fun, witty, and laugh out loud funny。 This is definitely a series that will boost your serotonin for at least a few hours。 5/5
